AFC Bournemouth is nearing a deal with this goalkeeper

Bournemouth Football Club is reportedly nearing an agreement with Inter Milan to secure the services of goalkeeper Andrei Radu. The 26-year-old Romanian, who first joined Nerazzurri as a youth player in 2013, recently underwent a medical examination on Wednesday.

Radu has had multiple loan spells at Serie A clubs including Genoa, Parma, and Cremonese due to his struggle to establish himself within the team. His most recent stint was a six-month term at Auxerre where he served as their primary keeper. However, despite his efforts, he could not prevent the club from being relegated from Ligue 1.

A New Chapter for Radu?

Following star goalie Andre Onana’s transfer to Manchester United, Radu decided to seek opportunities away from San Siro instead of vying for promotion within the squad. Bournemouth appears poised to offer him that chance by preparing for a season-long loan move for the player with an option to purchase him outright at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
